Czech Delegation Engages with Key Government Bodies to Advance Trade and Investment Cooperation

The Czech business delegation held a series of high-level bilateral discussions with key government institutions and trade associations in Bangladesh as part of its week-long visit to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

Facilitated by the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Dhaka, the delegation engaged with prominent organizations including the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industries, and the Bangladesh Auto Biscuits & Bread Manufacturers Association (BABBMA). 

These strategic discussions focused on aligning bilateral business interests with Bangladesh’s national investment goals and identifying opportunities to create a stronger environment for international trade and investment.

Key areas of discussion included streamlining trade processes, enhancing foreign direct investment (FDI), and expanding bilateral market access.

Through these institutional engagements, the visit helped create a platform for closer cooperation between Czech businesses and Bangladeshi government and industry stakeholders, supporting the broader goal of strengthening economic ties between the Czech Republic and Bangladesh.
